Tackling anti-social behaviour
We believe that everyone has the right to live the way they wish, as long as this does not spoil the quality of life of others. This means being tolerant, accepting and respecting the needs and choices of other people.
Tackling anti-social behaviour - or ASB - is one of our top priorities. As a result of feedback from our customers we have developed a dedicated team to deal with anti-social behaviour. A key part of their role is making our estates, streets, blocks and schemes pleasant and peaceful places to live.
If you need to speak to an anti-social behaviour champion, speak to your Tenancy Neighbourhood officer or contact our Customer Service team on 0300 303 1010.
What is anti-social behaviour?
Anti-social behaviour can be someone or something causing you annoyance, alarm, distress or harm, it could be noise, harassment, threats or actual violence, or issues of crime and disorder.
It may be actions which are unintentional and a matter of 'lifestyle mis-match', or it could be more serious with actions that are intentional and meant to cause harm or distress.
We work in partnership with the police, local authorities, residents and other agencies and are determined to prevent and tackle ASB.
We assess each case of anti-social behaviour on its merits and ensure it is recorded and where appropriate investigated. Suitable action will be taken against behaviours that have a detrimental affect on other residents' quality of life, peaceful enjoyment, security of their homes and surrounding neighbourhoods.
