All social housing rents are set within strict guidelines and are worked out using a formula provided by the Government. A number of factors will determine how much rent you will need to pay, including how much your home is worth and the number of bedrooms in your home.

It is important to pay your rent and we provide a variety of methods in which you can pay your rent.  We can also offer advice on ways in which you can reduce the likelihood of falling into arrears.

Remember, if you do not pay your rent:

• You will not be eligible for a transfer
• You will not be able to have a mutual exchange
• You will get a poor reference from us. If you are moving on to another landlord or buying a property we are duty bound to give a reference detailing your rent payment history.
• You will not be able to join our Premier Service club
• You may be subject to an attachment of earnings order deducting your arrears from your wages.
• You may lose your home.
