Paradigm Housing Group – a short biography
Paradigm Housing Group was established in April 1999 and provides a wide range of housing and support services throughout the South, East Midlands and West London.
However at its core, the group has been involved in social housing since 1989 as it was Chiltern Hundreds Charitable Housing Association that was the first large-scale stock transfer to take place in the country.
The Group includes Paradigm Homes (formerly Chiltern Hundreds Charitable Housing Association), Paradigm Commercial, Paradigm Maintenance and Paradigm Development.
We operate across three Homes and Communities Agency investment regions: South, East and London. Our performance during 2009/10 was consistently positive resulting in an end of year ranking in the top quartile position for all five HCA assessment categories when measured against other HCA Partners. This enabled us to continue with our Preferred Development Partner status under the National Affordable Housing Programme (NAHP).
Our 440 staff currently manage over 11,700 homes and having received a 2009/10 allocation grant of £35m and a further £11.5m for 2010/11 under the NAHP, we aim to build and acquire around 800 affordable, well designed, good quality homes for rent and sale over the next two years.
