We offer a fantastic range of benefits to employees. For further information on all benefits please contact Human Resources on 01628 811814 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We think that hard work and dedication deserves to be well rewarded. That's why we offer very competitive salaries. But the benefits don't stop there. We offer a variety of extra benefits as well. Read on to find out more.
We understand that our staff may lead very busy lives, so we encourage a healthy work-life balance. That's why we offer flexi-time within many departments in Paradigm and support flexible working arrangements (provided that business needs can be met). Our flexible working benefits and policies are highly valued by our staff. Not only that, but they're recognised as having a significant impact on both staff wellbeing and their ability to balance work demands with personal needs.
Everybody needs some time off from work to recharge their batteries. Paradigm offers generous annual leave benefits of 25 days a year, rising to 30 days based on service. Not only that, but people can buy or sell up to five days of annual leave in any one leave year.
Maternity/paternity and adoption leave
Having a child is an amazing and demanding time in anyone's life. We make this special time a bit easier by offering additional maternity and paternity benefits over and above the statutory minimum. This gives staff peace of mind while they focus on caring for their new child.
We constantly look to improve the working environment for our employees. The majority of our office-based staff are based in our fabulous Glory Park offices in Wooburn Green. Our recently refurbished Chesham offices are centrally located. We've also provided all of our maintenance technicians with new, specially adapted vans to make their day-to-day jobs easier.
We’re all stars but there are some who go above and beyond what is expected of them; they show outstanding commitment to their work, live Paradigm's values through their effort and attitude and shine just that little bit brighter. It’s those stars we want to recognise. Paradigm operate a recognition programme enabling managers to reward staff and teams for their successes.
Staff development is key to our success at Paradigm. This is why every employee has a personal development plan, which is regularly discussed with their line manager. Along with investing in internal and external training, we reimburse the cost of professional subscriptions. We believe that most of a person's development takes place on the job so we continually work to identify opportunities to enrich the daily roles of our staff.
We all know how important it is to regularly put some money away for retirement. To help, we offer a defined contribution pension scheme - staff make a contribution of between 3 and 5 percent of their salary into the scheme, which we will then match, or a defined benefit career average revalued earnings (CARE) 80th scheme. They will also be entitled to a death in service benefit equal to three times their salary and a survivors pension - giving loved ones financial peace of mind.
Healthy staff are effective staff - pure and simple. That's why we have an independent employee assistance programme - firstassist - that provides confidential practical and emotional support.
Our Simply Health Cash Plan helps staff with any dental, optical, physiotherapy and hospital in-patient costs. This also includes an extensive full body screening and free cover for children under the age of 18.
We reimburse the costs of eye tests and offer free health screening for all staff every two years.
Our active Staff Consultative Committee and trained Staff Supporters are available to help our employees constructively resolve issues.
As an organisation we are continually looking to offer value for money to both our customers and our staff.
In addition to our Simply Health Cash Plan, we offer employees the opportunity to participate in a contributory childcare voucher scheme, which is exempt from both tax and National Insurance contributions.
We recently introduced a pension salary sacrifice scheme enabling employees to save on employer and employee national insurance (NI) savings.
Tax-free loans for personal development and travel costs (including car loans for essential car users) are also available: allowing staff to spread these costs over a longer time period and at a low interest rate.
Staff discounts including close family and friends are currently available for car repairs, servicing and MOTs.
