Candidates wanted for Volunteer Resident Quality Inspectors for Voids roles – could this be you?

Applications are invited between 12 February and 5 March 2018 from residents who would like to become Volunteer Resident Quality Inspectors for Voids for Paradigm Housing Group.

There are eight roles which will involve the Inspectors to:

• independently visit our empty properties after maintenance works have been carried out and before the property is re-let
• visually assess the condition of the property
• provide detailed written assessment on the property based on our specification of works and from a resident’s perspective.

The role is open to Paradigm residents only and requires a lot of commitment and good availability at short notice throughout the working week, as void inspections would be carried out any time between 9:00am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday. It may suit someone who is not currently working but looking to learn new skills and who is happy to work alone. No academic qualifications or prior surveying experience is necessary.

The Inspectors’ feedback is extremely useful information for the organisation. Reports created from this work are shared with our Management Team and our Residents’ Forum, as well as showcased in our Annual Reports.
