Our Development team have completed the first of a number of new homes, as part of plans to redevelop unsightly garage sites in order to provide much needed affordable housing in the Chiltern District area.
The two brand new, one-bedroom apartments at Raans Road in Amersham are both for affordable rent. The apartments have their own front door leading from the street and don’t share any communal space. Before being transformed into lovely new homes, the site was four Paradigm garages and an open outdoor area behind.
The new apartments are one of four garage sites being developed in Amersham and Chesham:
• Birch Close (affordable rent), which was completed in early-September
• Woodside Close (shared ownership and outright sale), which will be completed in October
• Hodds Wood Road (rent and shared ownership) is due for completion in March 2020.
For all four sites, we’ve worked with Parrott Construction, as always making sure we get the best value for money and high quality, well designed homes for our residents.
