Have you heard about the Commonwealth Big Lunch 2018?

Posted on the 15th January 2018

The initiative is encouraging communities to get together – and residents can apply for a Foundation grant if they want to hold an event.

The Big Lunch is the UK’s annual get together for neighbours. This year people from across the Commonwealth are invited to take part in a celebration of everything we have in common across our 52 nations.

The Commonwealth Big Lunch celebrations, in partnership with the Eden Project, will take place in all 52 countries from Commonwealth Day on 12 March until 22 April, 2018. The lunches aim to get people together to share Commonwealth food with their sports clubs, community groups, schools, youth organisations, businesses, friends and families.

If any of our residents are interested, you may be eligible for a Paradigm Foundation grant to help support a Commonwealth Big Lunch. To find out how to apply visit the Paradigm Foundation website.

For more information and ideas about the Big Lunch, sign up for a free digital lunch pack.

And don’t forget to tell us about it too… just send any photos to the Paradigm Communications team at communications@paradigmhousing.co.uk.
