Successful bid for 583 new grant-funded shared ownership homes

Posted on the 23rd June 2017

After a prosperous 2016, we’ve had some great news to kick off the new year after being allocated grant from the 2016-21 funding programme to support 583 new grant-funded shared ownership homes. The new homes will cost approximately £200 million to build.

Together with the 649 other properties without grant (we are building a total of 1,232 properties), Paradigm are the tenth-largest developer in this programme.

This means we will secure, build and sell 250 homes each year – an average of five per week.

Andrew Main, Executive Director of Development said: “Paradigm’s overall mission is to provide affordable homes for those who need them most. This grant will give hundreds of people the opportunity to take their first step onto the property ladder. Thank you to everyone for their continued effort in helping us to deliver these homes.
