Drug dealing and taking

Drug use and drug dealing are criminal offences. You need to report them to the Police immediately:

  • Call 101 if it’s a non-emergency
  • Call 999 if it’s an emergency
  • tell the Police if you’re concerned about your safety.
What you can do
  • Your first priority must be the safety of you and your family members, and we ask customers to never knowingly put themselves in harm’s way.
  • Use the ASB App to record sounds, take photos and/or videos of the incident if safe to do so, and create a log of the incidents.
  • If you are unable to access the ASB App you can request ASB Incident Log Sheets from us by emailing ContactUs@lifestone.co.uk or calling 0300 303 1010.
  •  Report any incidents to the police immediately (in addition to logging it with us) using 999 in an emergency or 101 otherwise. You can also report drug-related criminal behaviour anonymously through crimestoppers-org.uk or calling 101.
  • Provide us with the references from any reports made to the police.
  • Support any legal action by providing witness evidence and attending court to give evidence.

Take tenancy action if needed, such as applying for court orders or repossessing a property. We can also seek mandatory possession if someone is convicted.

  • Offer help and support to the victims, including making any safeguarding referrals if appropriate
  • Consider measures to make the home of the victim safer
  • Work with the police to use community remedies
  • We can provide temporary accommodation.
  • The police can arrest, charge and prosecute suspects, and may share evidence with us to support tenancy action.
  • The police have the power to seize evidence, cordon off crime scenes and apply for Protective or Closure Orders to keep offenders away.
  •  Drug and alcohol support agencies can support people who are using drugs.
