As your circumstances change, you may want to buy further shares in your home or sell it.
Buying more shares in your home
As a shared owner with Paradigm you have the option to buy further shares of your home until you own 100%, but this may be subject to the terms of your lease. Buying further shares is known as ‘staircasing’. You can purchase further shares from a minimum of 10% and your rent will be reduced to reflect the share you own.

Selling shares in your home
We provide signposting advice options for those in financial difficulty but do not provide the option for shared owners to downward staircase or sell part of their home back to Paradigm.
