#SharingisCaring at Paradigm

Staff from across Paradigm came together to support #SharingisCaring – an initiative lead by aftercare officer Magda Watts, who decided she wanted to do something in January to make a difference to the local community.

Donation boxes were placed around the office, along with a list of items needed by local charities. Employees could then donate new and used clothing and shoes, dried food and other miscellaneous items into these boxes. Magda and other volunteers from around the organisation then sorted through the piles of donations – and they were able to distribute several large boxes to four local charities: The Salvation Army in Maidenhead, Wycombe Homeless Connection, Wycombe Women’s Aid and Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice in Maidenhead.

Magda said she was “overwhelmed with the amount of donations received. I can’t thank my colleagues enough for being so supportive and generous! All the gifts and donated items will make a BIG difference to so many local people who need it most.”
