Buckinghamshire Council approves our latest planning application

Posted on the 4th September 2020

Our first planning application to a Buckinghamshire Council planning committee has been unanimously approved for three new homes in Seer Green.

The new homes will replace a group of 19 garages off Hearnes Meadow in Seer Green. The garages are no longer fit for purpose, being too small for modern cars and are currently under-utilised. Permission was granted for two semi-detached two-bedroom and one detached three-bedroom affordable houses.

The houses will be in-keeping with the other houses along Hearnes Meadow and will each have a private rear garden, two off road parking spaces and bin storage. The site will be landscaped and will retain most of the existing trees, providing a new access road and turning head that will be much safer for bin lorries to turn than at present.

Hearnes Meadow is a sustainable use of a brownfield site, providing much-needed affordable homes for local families. It will significantly improve the appearance of the site and safety and security for neighbours who back onto the garages.

This is another step forward in our programme to replace our rundown garage sites with new affordable homes for those that need them most.
