Posted on the 8th October 2019

We have been working with contractors CLC to refurbish Lea Bridge House in Leyton. Lea Bridge House provides accommodation for homeless single people aged 25 and above with low support needs. The refurbishment includes all rooms from the first to the ninth floor, with new heaters and hand wash basins being installed. As well as this, the communal bathrooms have been pulled out and new flooring, cubicles, showers, baths and toilets have been fitted.

Michelle Mullings, Team Leader at Lea Bridge House said, “So far the residents are really happy and we have not had any complaints”.
Sara, a resident of Lea Bridge also told us she was “pleasantly surprised to discover that the new bathrooms are high-tech”. She told us it was “a real pleasure to realise that the wellbeing and comfort of the residents was taken into account during the refurbishments.”
